I am an Englishman living in France and I wrote this after the terrorist attacks in Paris this November. However, it is dedicated to all those who lost their lives in different places around the world at that time. If there is anyone reading this who is connected in some way with an orchestra and would like to include it in some sort of memorial concert, please feel free to do so. I want no payment for this - any money that happens to be made through it can be donated to a suitable cause.
